Post Gig
To create a gig, you must be signed in to TheGigify as an Employer. On the home page, click the "Post New Gig" button to open a modal where you can input and save your gig details.
If your employer account is not yet verified, you will be prompted to complete a quick verification process before you can publish. Once verified, you will be redirected to our secure payment system to fund the gig. Upon successful payment confirmation, your gig will immediately go live, making it visible for all talents on TheGigify to view and apply.
Edit Gig
To edit an existing gig, navigate to your Employer dashboard and select the Gigs page on the navigation bar. This section displays a complete list of your posted gigs, their current statuses, and available actions.
Click on the specific gig you wish to modify to open its details page. Next, click the "Edit Gig button" located in the top right corner of the screen. After making your desired updates, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes" to successfully apply your new edits.
Unpublish Gig
To unpublish/draft an open gig, navigate to your Employer dashboard and select the Gigs page on the navigation bar. This section displays a complete list of your posted gigs, their current statuses, and available actions.
One of the available actions mentioned above is Unpublish Gig. Selecting this option immediately saves your gig as a draft, removing it from public view so that only you can see it. You can choose to republish the gig at any time.
Note: Only gigs with an "Open" status can be unpublished. If a gig already has hired talents, it cannot be unpublished.
Cancel Gig & Request Refund
In order to cancel a gig, you must first of all unpublish the gig. Next, go over to the "draft" tab and the "Cancel Gig" action would be made available for that specific gig. Clicking it would request for a confirmation of cancellation, once cancellation is confirmed the gig is cancelled and a refund is automatically initiated. You will contacted within 2-3 hours of cancellation in order to settle your refund request.
Managing Gig Applicants
To manage gig applicants from talents for an existing gig, navigate to your Employer dashboard and select the Gigs page on the navigation bar. This section displays a complete list of your posted gigs, their current statuses, and available actions.
To review your applicants, click the "View Applications" button on your desired gig. This will open a modal displaying all the talents who have applied. You can explore a candidate's full details by clicking their "View Profile" button.
When you find candidates who are a strong fit for the role, click "Add to Shortlist". This allows you to filter and organize your top choices. You can easily review this curated list at any time by switching to the "Shortlisted Candidates" tab.
Within the Shortlisted Candidates tab, you can choose to message, reject, or officially hire each talent. We strongly advise messaging your shortlisted candidates to discuss the gig details before making a final decision.
Note: Once you complete the hiring process for a talent, the action is permanent and they cannot be un-hired.
Talent Discovery & Search Filters
To discover talents and search using specific criteria, navigate to the Search page from your Employer account. Here, you will find a comprehensive directory of all available talents on TheGigify.
To narrow down the list to meet your exact needs, you have two filtering options:
Quick Filters: Use these readily available options to easily sort candidates based on a list of preset skills.
Custom Filters: For more specific requirements, click the Filter icon located within the search bar. This will open a dedicated modal where you can apply advanced filters to further refine your search results.
Manage Gig Offers
In order to send out a gig offer you have to first of all go through and find a suitable talent for your gig by going through the Talent Discovery flow.
Once you have found a suitable candidate, you can invite them directly by clicking the Offer Gig button located on their talent card. This will open the offer modal. If you currently have active, open gigs, you can select the specific role you want to offer them. You also have the option to include a personalized message before clicking "Send Invite".
Important: Please ensure you are completely confident in your selection before sending an invite. The moment a talent accepts your offer, they are automatically hired for that gig.
To review all the offers you have sent, navigate to the "Offers" page from your dashboard and select a specific gig to view its associated invitations.
Releasing Payment & Rating Your Talent
Once a gig has been successfully completed, you are required to release the funds to the talent by clicking the "Release Payment" button on the gig in the "Gigs" page.
To ensure account security, a confirmation modal will appear. Click the "Send OTP Code" button within the modal, which will automatically send a One-Time Password to your registered email address.
Retrieve the code from your email, enter it into the modal's input field, and then click the final "Release Payment" button to securely transfer the funds to the talent.
Afterward, you can provide feedback on their performance by clicking the "Rate Talent" button.
Reporting a Talent
In the event that a talent fails to deliver quality work or violates agreed-upon guidelines, you have the right to report them. To do this, click the "Report Talent" button on the gig and provide detailed information in the modal that appears. Please note that including photo or video evidence will significantly strengthen your case.
Submitting a report automatically initiates a refund request. Our support team will reach out to both you and the talent as soon as possible to gather the facts and make a fair judgment based on the evidence provided.
Important: Wrongful use or abuse of the report function is taken seriously. Submitting false claims will result in a strike on your profile and a possible permanent ban from the platform.
